PREFABRICA - 03-30-2010
New locations + a bonus
New locations for both the textures and sounds are now open. The main TP spot on Prefabrica has been moved too, so don't be surprised too much not to see what you're used to :) Both regions are still going through updates certainly so it's a good idea to watch out for falling bricks when roaming the streets, but the stores are operational and the old Prefabrica building now serves only for sculpties and meshes (when they arrive, that is :). The brand has also been updated and now Prefabrica consists of four branches: MESH, IMAGE, SOUND and CODE. The last is still not open to public but be sure to check back soon :)
Along with the final move we're releasing another of our animated textures - the Vinyl records 01 - again to be found in the new Prefabrica IMAGE building inworld.

Streetlights series
You may have noticed some of those being used in the newly emerging streets of Bytegang/Prefabrica united regions. Those street lights are designed minding the prim count and good LOD. Coming in two 5pcs packages, they contain not just the usual ambient occlusions but again realistic bakes - this makes them supereasy to use right out of the box!

Yes, it's been silent for a while. We're preparing quite a lot of news for you and some of them will be announced very soon. You might have noticed that the whole region is going through major changes. There will be more. Much more :)
In the meantime enjoy two new animated texture packs. The grunge screen overlays and cool rotating loaders for your futuristic builds. Both available in the mainstore exclusively for now.

Decors
This rather extensive collection represents a step in a new direction concerning the sculpties we produce. Those pieces come not just with the usual ambient occlusion texturing but also with realistic bakes that allow you to use them right out of the box. We have three pieces of sanitary in a bit of a grunge style, and definitely very grunge sets of barrels (those come with 4 texture sets each!)

New animated packs + more laces
We're releasing another two pieces in the animated textures line. Enjoy the realistic graphic equalizers and living sparkles. Those fine anim pieces are accompanied by fifth laces set - we're making a lot of people happy here I guess :)

8 new pieces out there!
Now this pack is fat. It's eight new products on the shelves and even more to come this week! Let's take a closer look: We're adding two new helmets to those we have: the Fireman's and the Modern Army ones. Crash has produced a second variation to the cubes and boxes texture packs as well. And the last but not least are the long asked for backpacks. We have five pieces, various designs and uses, all in our standard quality.

Lighting series
Let there be light - because we have quite some collection available now. Ranging from medieval style torches, chandeliers and lanterns to art deco era lighting and modern interior lamps and spotlights. The three new 5pcs packages will make the interior designers happy I'm sure. xStreet links:

Crates and Bells
We got a new texture pack - 5pcs set of 6 face textures for crates, boxes and whatnot. Includes also prim examples with the textures correctly mapped - it's not always easy to do the aligning. I'm sure they'll soon appear on junkyards and urban builds across the grid.
The sculpties line has two new additions too. The twin packs of bells in all sizes and variations - from tiny jingle bells to large tower bells - all light-prim and highly useful.

New texture packs
Five of them. Three animated packages and two standard ones. Would you believe the pace? :) Ok, so the animated ones are Flames (I've been looking for such since I first logged in), Animated Meters and gauges (feeling steampunkish anyone? :) and Neons - blinking and irritating lights of the nightclubs and venues. The non-animated pieces are the Buttons (with masked alpha for apparel designers) and a new cool set of five Graffitis (this time just a single 1024*512px texture, still great quality for a good price!) The animated pieces are displayed in the mainstore - see them yourself before buying :)

4 new sculptie packs
There are four new sculpted pieces in the mainstore: we've added a sequel to the beloved Flowers, Leaves and Keys sets.
