I'm running short of time. Really. Releasing rather in bunches lately and this one is quite a big one :) We've released 8 new products today and I added a "New stuff" board to the mainstore to help you keep track of the new releases. So what's on today? A set of 5 Office chairs, Propellers pack (useful for anything from aircrafts to ships), another 15pcs set of building components - Greek/Roman this time, and finally a set of chairs that fit our pianos line.

A special affair is the new Ornaments line we're starting here. First four pieces out there, beautiful sculpted art, fit for any creative use.

PREFABRICA - 05-06-2009

Hats anyone? We got quite a wide line now :) I was thinking about a big fat pack, but then I thought i'd give the customers a choice. They go for nice prices of 999L$, pretty good starter for a shop, I'd say.

We got a pack of four different cylinders for the victorian style fashion brands.

We also got a three pieces pack of cowboy (or Indy if you wish :) styles, these are cool, I think :)

There's a bowler (or a derby as they call it) - I'm really looking forward to some mods of this one!

And last but not least, the proper base for a wizard's or witch's hat, magical for sure, one-prim as all the other are :)

PREFABRICA - 05-05-2009

Moe made a decent set of mushrooms, they're one-prim and carry either a greyscale baked texture, or a sweet realistic one. Great for any garden of miracles :)

Second release is the Musical Instruments set II. Containing a keyboard, drums, another trumpet and a harp, I'm sure it will be handy. Scripted addon coming soon, by the way, stay tuned.

The third piece I'm about to introduce is the Tools set. 8pcs, 18prims, great details - that's the PREFABRICA hardware prefab pack. Contains a wrench, a monkey wrench, two hammers, screwdrivers and inbus keys. Great stuff, just waiting for you :)

PREFABRICA - 04-27-2009

Yeah, the uberbusy owner of inStorm finally joined us and we're proud to present the first fruit of this cooperation. It's a skateboard, heavily detailed for a prefab (41 prims...), with baked shadowmaps, great detail, Prefabrica style. I see it attached to stuff or made into a state-of-the-art vehicle. Three new pieces on the shelves! First one is the sequel to the ubersuccessful Medieval weapons pack. Again, it contains 8 weapons - swords, warhammers and others. Compatible with the katana scripts of course - off goes your creativity! xStreet link.

Complementing the musical instruments pack, two pianos have been released as well! The standard one, for home and practicing, and the grand piano for the concert halls and open air music performances. PREFABRICA - 04-15-2009

We're releasing two new sets today. The first one is a pack of 15 bolts, nails, rivets and all those little pieces you always needed to weld your stuff together. The pack includes nano versions of each sculpt map, so that you can go under the usual 0.010m limitation.xStreet.

PREFABRICA - 04-07-2009

Just in time for the holiday, we managed to spit out another free prefab that the creators might like to use. It's a pack of basket, eggs and egg shells. All fullperm, all sculpted and shadowed. xStreet link.

I've been approached a couple of times recently with questions and in some cases irritation concerning the PFB freebies. I'd like to comment shortly. No, we're not killing the market. No, we're not undershooting the prices in order to get the others out of the business (how could we succeed in such a vast market?). We're just releasing some universal shapes for people to use and we don't feel appropriate to charge for them. Come on, how difficult is it to make a gear or an egg? :) We charge enough for the more complex creations with potential to create more profit. I know some people have been earning a lot on the simplest things and they're afraid they'll loose their easy position. Well they're right, it's the amount of work and proficiency that's going to count, not some ancient merits. They can fight their petty wars, they can try to rate us badly on xStreet, they can spit their poison in the reviews and forums - but in the end, the only thing that's going to matter is how good they are. I know our position exactly, I know where we're going and I certainly know how to get there. Adapt or leave :)
